André Schiepel

Lawyer, Partner – Specialist lawyer for employment and labour law

André Schiepel is admitted as a lawyer since 1998 and is specially qualified in employment and labour law. From 1998 to 2000, he was an in-house lawyer at the Bavarian Food Industry Employers’ Association (Arbeitgeberverband der Bayerischen Ernährungsindustrie) and managing director of the Bavarian Drinks Industry Association (Verband der Bayerischen Getränkeindustrie), from 2000 to 2003 in-house lawyer for collective employment law at Flughafen München GmbH, inter alia, as personal assistant to the managing director for personnel. In 2003, he became a partner at Ernst und Späth Rechtsanwälte from which maat originated in 2008. André Schiepel acts for major companies in the air transport and health industries. His focus is on advising hospitals, senior residences and major medical facilities on collective employment law i.e. works constitution, employee representation and collective bargaining law. He advises and supports companies in the implementation of occupational health and integration management systems (BEM). He also has particular experience in the employment and labour law of the public service and the negotiation of works and service agreements and collective bargaining agreements.
