Dr. Kathrin Kentner
Lawyer, Partner - Specialist lawyer for employment and labour law
Dr. Kathrin Kentner is a partner at maat since 01.01.2023. Until then she was several years at Dornbach, responsible for the entire field of employment law in Munich. Prior to that, she was a lawyer for more than ten years at Beiten Burkhardt, from 2014 as a partner. She completed her dissertation on industrial action law before being admitted to the bar in 2009.
Dr. Kentner provides comprehensive advice to medium-sized and large companies on individual and collective labor law, especially in upcoming change and development processes. Within this context, she frequently conducts negotiations with works councils and trade unions and also acts as an assessor on conciliation boards and as a defender in court.
Her strength and passion are complex and difficult negotiation situations. Her professional focus lies on matters relating to works council constitution law as well as the support of collective bargaining changes (resignation, change) and disputes (strike defense). In addition, she is in charge of executive board and managing director issues and is a requested speaker for in-house trainings.
